Express InterestTender Description
The London Borough of Hackney is seeking expressions of interest from experienced providers for its Passenger transport framework for Children with SEND, Looked after Children and Vulnerable Adults. The procurement will use the Competitive Flexible Procedure, and there will be two stages Stage 1: Procurement Specific Questionnaire, which will shortlist supplier based on experience and capability. Shortlisted suppliers will be invited to Stage 2: Invitation to Tender The framework will be for a duration of 3 years, with the option to extend for a further 12 months. This will be an open framework. The Council may re-open the framework to competition in years 1, years 3, and for the purpose of extending the framework in year 3. There are 2 lots, with up to 20 suppliers appointed onto each lot. Lot 1: Home to school transport for SEND children and young people (with and without the passenger assistant requirement) - Minibuses, People Carriers and/ or Taxis. Lot 2: Ad-hoc journeys (may include some repeat bookings) for Looked After Children and Vulnerable Adults to meet assessed needs (with and without the passenger assistant requirement).
