Flexible Framework Agreement for the provision of Home and Community based Short Breaks for Children and Young People with Disabilities

This is the third opening of this Flexible Framework, which was originally opened under the PCR2015 procurement process. The tender now only relates to Lots 2-6, as Lot 1 was awarded to the highest scoring tender from the original opening. The tender value reflects the original projected value including the main activity from Lot 1. The value of call offs from Lots 2-6 is variable and , as this is a Framework, there is no guarantee of business from Framework call offs. This relates to services provided to children who have received a Child in Need assessment under section 17 of the Children Act 1989. The Local Authority has a statutory duty to offer a wide range of short breaks services for children and young people with disabilities, in turn this will enhance their lives, encourage independence and support their families. Existing Providers are not required to re-submit a bid unless they wish to be evaluated against Lots for which they did not previously bid.
