Tender Description

Hertfordshire County Council is currently out to procurement for the Provision of a sensory support service for Hertfordshire. The Council are seeking to award Contracts for Sensory Support Services across Hertfordshire. As per the Specification (Schedule 1 of the Terms and Conditions), these services are available to individuals who are Bind, have sight loss, Deaf or have hearing loss or individuals who have duel Sensory loss 18 years of age and over residing in Hertfordshire. These contracts are jointly funded by Hertfordshire County Council (‘The Council’) and the Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (I C B) and they supplement statutory health and social care provision and aim to support people to continue living life independently in their community, and to help prevent the deterioration of their health and wellbeing. The Contract will consist of the following Lots: Lot 1- Visual Rehabilitation for Individuals Who are Blind or Have Sight Loss. Lot 2- Support for individuals Residing in Hertfordshire Who are Blind or Have Sight Loss. Lot 3- Support for individuals Residing in Hertfordshire Who are Deaf or Have Hearing Loss There will be no restriction on the amount of Lots a Tenderer may bid for. Individual Contracts will be formed for each Lot. The Council will procure this contract using the?Open Procedure as defined in the Procurement Act 2023 Full details of the requirement and context of the procurement can be found in the Service Specification of the Contract Document. Organisations wishing to take part in this project are invited to ‘express an interest’ and also ‘opt in’ which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system. To be considered as a Tenderer you must complete and submit a Tender by the deadline of 12 noon on the 8th April 2026 Please allow sufficient time to make your return, as Tender submissions cannot be uploaded and submitted after this return deadline.
