Providers are invited to express their interest and bid for the Provision of Emotional Health and Wellbeing Navigators. The EHWB Navigators will provide up to 12 weeks structured 1:1 intervention using a strength based, child centred and trauma informed approach. The focus is on supporting self-management and behaviour change. Navigators will utilise an asset-based approach when supporting young people. Navigators will support young people to identify personal goals whilst increasing motivation and readiness for change. They will support young people to develop coping strategies and healthier behaviours, being encouraged to actively participate in their care. Young people will be empowered to make informed decisions about their future health. The provider shall commit to • Improve emotional wellbeing and resilience • Reduce substance misuse and associated vulnerabilities • Increase young people’s confidence, motivation and self-management skills • Support informed decision making about health and lifestyle • Reduce barriers to education, training, employment and independent living • Monitor outcomes via an evidence-based model (such as the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale & Outcomes Wheel) to track improvements and outcomes.
