23044 Cambridgeshire County Council - Older People Day Services for Huntingdonshire and South Cambridgeshire

ambridgeshire County Council currently has 3 inhouse day services for older people with eligible care and support needs, our inhouse services do not cover Huntingdonshire or South Cambridgeshire. This need was being met by grant funded services. The grant arrangements ended in March 2024, the Authority requires providers to support Older People with eligible care and support needs within these two districts through a Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System. The Authority want to have an offer of day services, which are designed to support people, outside of their home, to be as independent as possible and reduce their social isolation, within Huntingdonshire and South Cambridgeshire. The Authority would like to particularly encourage providers that can offer a day opportunity that can also support with personal care and dementia specific needs within Huntingdonshire and South Cambridgeshire.
