Emergency Accommodation Hotels; B&Bs & Guest Houses

The London Borough of Hackney’s Adults Social Care Commissioning Service is pleased to invite bids from local Hotels, B&Bs and guest houses who can be responsive and are able to provide cost effective accommodation for people with care needs and who are residents of Hackney. Hackney Council plans to move away from spot purchasing of emergency accommodation in Hotels; B&Bs and Guest Houses and wish to invite bidders to join our Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). The aim is to establish corporate rates for rooms including corporate discounts for longer term bookings. The current route of spot purchasing is not cost effective for the Council, and does not allow businesses to plan effectively, therefore we are looking for bidders who will be willing to enter into a contractual agreement and a partnership with the London Borough of Hackney. We are seeking accommodation for Adults who have had a Care Act assessment and are waiting for their status to be processed or waiting for their own accommodation to be ready, often due to renovations or other works. The DPS will be split into two lots: Lot 1 – Block booking of beds Lot 2 – Individual fixed rate for each bed
